Family / Couple accommodation

At present, there are four self-contained flats (one x 1 bedroom and three x 2 bedroom) in Queen Mary housing for families with very small children. There is also limited family accommodation available at the University of London intercollegiate halls.

Couples without children may be accommodated in one of the College's nine twin rooms in student houses sharing communal facilities (bathrooms and kitchen/diners) with other students. Alternatively the College also has limited availability for couples in University of London Intercollegiate Halls based in Central London.

Only one person need be a full time registered student of the College to be eligible for family / couple housing. If you are unsuccessful in obtaining either one of the family flats or twin rooms, you will need to seek housing in the private sector (please refer to the section on Privately Rented Accommodation). You are strongly advised to come to London alone in the first instance, and once suitable accommodation is secured then bring your partner/family to join you, thus avoiding the high cost of temporary accommodation.
