Before you can move into your room you will be required to have signed a licence agreement (normally online) for the duration of your stay and to have paid your deposit fee of £300. If you have not completed these tasks please contact Housing Services before trying to collect your keys.

**The moving in date for 2018-19 main course of study will be 15 September 2018**
If you intend to arrive on campus by car, please note that there is no car parking on campus. You will be able to drive onto campus, but we ask that you unload your vehicle within 45 minutes and then move off campus to park. Whilst your vehicle is on campus you must display the ticket given to you by the Security Officer at the gate and the car driver must remain with the vehicle at all times. We ask that you unload your vehicle as quickly as possible and then move off campus to park your vehicle.
There will be a free bus service for new Study Abroad students arriving at Heathrow Airport on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September to take students to the Mile End Campus. For more information please go to the Booking site.
You can collect your keys and move into your room from the commencement date given on your licence agreement or any day after the commencement date of your licence agreement. You will need to produce a copy of your licence agreement or accommodation confirmation email in order to collect your keys. You can login and print a copy from your accommodation account at residencesonline.qmul.ac.uk

As soon as you complete your Pre-Enrolment at the University, your access is automatically activated.
We recommend that all QMUL students register with QMUL/local doctor prior to arrival. This will allow you access to health treatment should you require it. Residents at the Mile End and Whitechapel campuses can register with QMUL Student Health Service (SHS) located on the ground floor of the Geography Building, Mile End Campus.
To register with the SHS, please visit www.studenthealth.qmul.ac.uk and follow up the registration instructions there.
Students living at Dawson Hall (Charterhouse Square) can use the NHS Choices website to find medical centres near to Dawson Hall. The postcode for Dawson Hall is EC1M 6BQ.
Insurance cover for your belongings, to the value of £5,000 (or £6,000 for Disabled students), is included in the cost of your room. This cover is provided by a company called Endsleigh insurance. Further details of the cover can be found at review cover for QM Halls Policy HH1001
Please note that you may require additional insurance depending on the items you are bringing with you and their value; key areas to check are the value of your computer equipment. Additional insurance will be required for bicycles and mobile phones.
All Queen Mary residences are fully furnished. However, residents are reminded that they will need to provide their own bedding (linen, duvet, pillows etc), towels, cooking and eating utensils. The average size of the beds are 190cm x 90cm.
You can pre-order bedding packs & kitchen packs from our online shop. Any items purchased will be available for collection from the Reception in France House. Please do not submit any orders until you have accepted a place in College accommodation and received confirmation.
